One thing raising poultry (especially chickens) all these years has taught us is: there is such a thing as
"poultry math".
You went in to buy a couple, and come out with thirty.
We started our homestead journey with chickens, and it was the best decision we made. As city people trying to figure out the farm world, this was a wonderful first step!
