NIGERIAN DWARF BABIES!!!
2023 Breeding Schedule
Sweet Pepper's udder was near perfect for her first freshening. We are happy with almost everything about it. We are hoping to improve on her teat size and her milk output. We are breeding her with Colt hoping his superior genetics will add some dairyness to her kids.
R1 - Doe available
R2 - Doe retained
R3 - Wether available
R4 - Wether SOLD
We will be working with this matching for the first time this year.
We are hoping this pair will produce a doeling in 2023 to really see the lines. Moondance has amazing dairyness, teats, and udder. Her orifices however...
R7 - Buck available
R8 - Doe retained
*blue eyes; polled
We are excited to be breeding this combo again. We are liking the lines we are seeing in Blue Blazes (the buckling we retained from this kidding). This will, however, be the last year we will be breeding Caramel. We are going to be selling him to dear friends of ours to use for their farm.
**This pairing produced 2 bucklings and 1 doeling
P1 buckling - SOLD
P2 buckling SOLD
P3 doeling - SOLD
Sweet Pepper's udder was near perfect for her first freshening. We are happy with almost everything about it. We are hoping to improve on her teat size and her height. So we are breeding her with Blue Blazes hoping to get some of the teat and height from his genetics in their offspring.
**This pairing produced 1 buckling and 2 doelings
P4 buckling - unavailable
P5 doeling SOLD
P6 doeling - SOLD
Currently, this match up is both purely from an esthetic side. Until we learn more about Blue Blazes and Moodance capabilities we are simply breeding them because Moondance and Blaze both carry blue eyes and Moondance is polled/moon spotted
**This pairing produced 2 bucklings
P7 buckling SOLD
P8 buckling - SOLD
We are interested to see how this combo improves our lines. Both goats come from some amazing lines. Sunshine has blue eyes, and we are hopeful her kids will retain this gene.
**This pairing produced 1 doeling
P9 pending SOLD
Triple Arrow Farm Sweet Pepper
Pepper is a first freshener (FF) with her first kidding on March 2nd, 2021.
She kidded triplets without issue. All three of her kids were male.
As I write this (3/3/21) she has had plenty of milk for her triplets.
All three are available.
Reserve yours today!
This kidding produced three bucklings
Out of all of the kids, N1 is doing the best. He has shown all of the traits we look for in temperament. He takes to the bottle well, sucks on our finger, follows us everywhere, and adjusts well to his herd and suckles on the dam. I have great hope for this little guy as a well adjusted member of your farm.
N2 is our farm's little sweet heart. He is the only buckling who did not take to the dam. This is our 100% bottle baby. When he was born he was the runt and we think he never got on the mom before we put him in our living room. He was so small and stayed off by himself in a corner. And now? He is bouncy and full of life and snuggles! My 11 year old had to fight him 3 times to get inside. HAHA! I think he is going to make a great pet and a super friendly buck.
He is definitely the dam's favorite! He is growing quite well...one may even say too well. He is just a little, chubby poof ball right now. So much so, we have discussed putting him on a diet. HAHA! He is showing signs of being a great buck. He is friendly, but not so friendly he is obnoxious. He sticks with his herd well and I think will prove to be well adjusted when going to his new home.
Triple Arrow Farm Blue Louise
Louise had her third freshening on March 2nd, 2021. We are excited to see how well her udder turns out this year with not only our slightly more experienced hands, but her third freshening udder. Louise only had one baby boy, and goodness he is a doozy! You can see just how much bigger he is than the three which were born just minutes before him.
This buckling has blue eyes and he is still available!
Reserve him today!
